We are off to Mexico!

Ah, a holiday at last!! Good old Jetsetter (http://www.jetsetter.com/) had a wonderful deal on The Banyan Tree in Mayakoba that was just too good to ignore. However, a lesson I did learn was never try and book an expensive holiday when you have a 3 month old on your lap and your 5 year old incessantly asking random questions. I somehow managed to book two villas instead of one but thankfully realising my costly error and despite the 'no cancellations under any circumstance' policy they agreed to cancel my booking allowing me to do it properly in peace and quiet. There must be something about Mexico though, because we somehow managed to get yet another holiday to the Mayan Riviera after drinking one too many 'Heartinis'. Yes thanks to the good old School auction... B got somewhat competitive with the paddle and we landed ourselves with a grossly overpriced trip back to Mexico with a two week travel window during the rainy season. A profligate night not to be repeated. That said, I'm looking forward to a spot of luxury and sunshine. It will be Ava's first trip there, Daisy's second, and we've bagged a gorgeous villa with it's own Jacuzzi and private pool. Two more sleeps and we are off.... the smell of Piz Buin and Mojitos awaits.
